North Pittsburgh Animal Behavior is committed to helping Pittsburghers and their pets enhance the human-animal bond through family-friendly, positive-reinforcement methods which are easy, fun and affordable.
If you think about it, the human-animal bond is really incredible, isn't it? We fall in love with their furry faces, their abundance of happiness and puppy kisses, and we choose them to be a part of our family (or sometimes they choose us!) during our life's journey. But sometimes along that road, just like any other relationship, we run into problems with our communication.
That's why I do what I do.
Our dogs aren't born knowing English, and they don't understand our expectations: greet visitors calmly, walk at our pace on the leash, don't bark at EVERY car that drives past the house.
Along the same lines, we aren't born knowing "dog": why barking is SUPER important, what they're learning from sniffing the neighbors poodle in the most intrusive places, and why rolling in bunny poop is an essential element of their being!
So, much like any other relationship, it's all about compromise. Give & take. How could we expect our dogs to give us 100% if we don't do the same for them?
Dogs & their owners deserve to understand one another.
That's my job, my passion, my life, and my commitment to you. I take every client seriously; from puppy training, to dog obedience, to dog behavior issues, each of my clients receives high quality, affordable dog training in a one on one environment.
I look forward to helping you & your dog achieve balance in order to have a happy, healthy, harmonious home.
